Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris and wet messes in one go, without having to switch between devices. They can also save storage space compared to having two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models with docks that let them automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the simplest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you running with a clean, full dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. Its mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a variety of attachments and brushes, and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
You could, for instance ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation technology are superb as the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only issue it has is that it tends to smash into walls and other objects at full speed - but a quick glance at the cleaning history in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading and the obstacles it's run into or avoided.
The docking station features a handy LCD screen that indicates the time when maintenance is required like emptying the debris and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank by itself, using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time as well, with the mop being capable of running for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is simple to use and intuitive and lets you see all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. This year's model has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This enhances the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to remove small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners could be unable to pick up.
As with the other two Roborock models I've tested the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates a dual-camera that can identify objects, and determine if they are walls or other surfaces. It is able to change its course in a way that is automatic and clean around them without missing a step.
It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it only has three physical buttons which include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can bring the robot back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid, you will find the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-filling.
The only issue I have discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed) but it's a challenge to take off the mount to wash it manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number smart features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these via the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with innovative features, superior suction power and cutting-edge mowing capabilities. Its intelligent design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while reducing time.

It also lets the robot to get under low-profile furniture making it an ideal choice for small apartments and condos with limited space. The side brush automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots. This is a nice feature that assists the X40 avoid damaging floors with repeated back-andforth movements.
In contrast to other robots that only focus on one thing, the X40 is capable of performing both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or separately. It can also be programmed to skip areas with carpets and mop only hard floors or reverse the process. robot cleaner can be controlled through the Dreame app or via Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is simple and user-friendly and the X40's intelligent features are simple to set up. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It is also possible to alter suction power, change modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's done.
robot vacuum cleaners reviews is easy to maintain and comes with numerous convenient features, making it a great option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a large 3.2 L bin, cleans mop pads and refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It also can detect the moment when the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive available and comes with a lot of additional features that set it apart. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub that makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it comes with an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and smaller dirt particles - and also pick up spills and wet spots.
The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This is a great feature as it stops the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a feature we've yet to see on other robot vacuum and mop models and it could be a useful method of keeping your home cleaner for longer.
There's a wealth of options available which include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a number of different preferences. The app allows you to define these preferences, or use the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and provides a number of options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also has a number of features that aren't offered on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list, at 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and feels sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is well-designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them extend up to 2mm below the baseboards.
